This site, the Accessible NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Bracket, is my experiment in making March Madness more accessible to basketball fans with disabilities, particularly those using non-visual interfaces such as screen readers. As an example of how one might construct a bracket using standards-based, accessible markup, a completed bracket from the 2010 tournament appears below.
Starting with the 2011 tournament, I plan to apply my energies to improving the accessibility of one of the major bracket sites. For more on that effort, stay tuned to my blog.
