An update, facelift, and new version of AAP

Gosh, it’s been aeons since I updated this blog. Today I dusted, swept, and mopped it. It now has a new look, partly because I was tired of the old, but also because I wanted to be more consistent with my technology blog, and with my home page.

In my previous post, I mentioned that I was participating again in FAWM 2011. I did in fact do that, and finished with 14 new tunes. Like my music blog, these tunes have been somewhat dormant over the last few months, but unlike my music blog, their dormancy was intentional. I felt a need to separate myself from them for a while. That hiatus is drawing to a close and I now have a fresh perspective with which to finish these tunes off. I’ll be mixing them down and mastering them over the next few weeks, so please stay tuned.

I also have a performance coming up. I’ll be one of several artists performing at Dharmic Expressions: A Celebration of Zen and the Arts, October 1 at the Red Cedar Dharma Hall in Bellingham. Should be a great event.

Finally, I just today released an update to Accessible Audio Player (AAP). I’ve quietly been working on this over the last few months, and feel pretty good about its current capabilities, both as a standalone player and a WordPress plug-in (AAPP). Check out The Official AAP Home Page for all the groovy details.
